Phase 1 - Skecthing and Ideation to explore, capture and develop ideas. As in all things, quantity does not necessarily mean quality. We create multiple sketches reflecting differing ideas or sketches that, through iteration, improve the theme and direction of the brief. These multiple exploration concepts are presented without color or maybe in grey shades to represent volumes. Based on personal preference towards a particular tone or shade, viewers can become instantly polarized with the actual sketches and designs becoming irrelevant. A good sketch conveys the designer’s ideas without being overly worked. Drawings don’t have to be crisp and sharp. It’s better to get several good ideas down quickly and relay multiple thoughts and ideas at a glance. The main focus at this point is to convey imagination and fresh thinking and not focus on or ‘noodle’ one idea.
Phase 3 - 2D Renderings: Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator of the final selected concept. At this point we explore color options, materials and finishes for a particular brand. This helps understand how the parts come together and how to take advantage of partician line to create color breaks and accents. Also at this point branding is explore.
Phase 4 - 3D Construction: A 3D model of the seleceted final concept is build with nominal wall thinkness using Solidworks. At this point we build the selected concept over the internal components. We make sure the design is manufacturable by paying close attention of draft angles and tooling pull directions. Final 3D file are hand off in clients especific file format (iges, step, parasolid ect...).
Phase 4 - 3D Renderings: This photorealistic image will help sell or show future buyers how the final product will look.
Phase 2 - Concept Refinment - At this stage we explore alteration of the selected design direction to make sure  the design or final intension has been convey. At this point clean line drawings from diferent angle are drawn with the correct dimentions and proportions using underlays with internal components.
